Using the editor
General advice for working with local game saves.
Keep a backup
Close the game and copy the original save to a separate folder before editing. Keep that copy after downloading the result. If a game uses a database or several related files, back up the complete save folder.
Open and edit your file
Check the game's page for its save location, supported format and editable values. Open Save Editor Online and upload a working copy. The editor detects the format automatically.
Start with one value you recognize. If the expected fields are missing, check the file and version instead of changing unrelated numbers.
Download and check the result
Download the edited file. With the game closed, return it to the original save location under the original name, then load the relevant slot and check the result. If it fails to load or behaves unexpectedly, close the game and restore your backup.
Understand the compatibility notes
Support applies to the platform and format listed on each game's page. Local editor verification means the file could be read, changed, written and reopened by the editor. It does not guarantee every possible change or acceptance by the game. The current guides do not claim verified in-game loading or a fresh check of the deployed service.
If a save is not recognized, keep the original and use the support section in the editor. A raw numeric view alone does not establish support for a specific game.
