Where to find your save
Windows
Classic and Legendary Edition default folder, documented by Bethesda. Choose the ESS for the character and slot you want.
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\SavesWindows — Special Edition
Bethesda identifies this Special Edition save root. Look in its Saves folder for your ESS files; redirected Documents folders may be elsewhere.

What you can edit
Reviewed Windows Classic/Legendary and Special Edition saves. Full health, magicka, stamina, skills and perks are not exposed. Console containers and every modded variant are not covered.

| Inventory | Adjust recognized player/container stack counts and condition. Gold is editable only when its inventory stack is recognized; item IDs and dependencies need to remain consistent. |
