Where to find your save
For local Windows worlds, look inside your account and world folders under this root. Select the original world or player SAV you intend to change.
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Pal\Saved\SaveGames- File
- Original .sav world or player files, including Level.sav; not .sav.json exports
What you can edit
Work with the original local world or player SAV. Available fields depend on the file and version; opaque records and unfamiliar structures are not fully editable.
| Existing level values | Change a named Level value exposed in the decoded save tree. Check the containing record: Level.sav is a world file, so a Level field is not automatically your player’s level. |
|---|---|
| Player progression fields | Edit exposed numeric player values, including the stored bonus-experience index in recognized layouts. This is a technical property editor, not a complete Pal, inventory or character editor. |
Notes
- Large edited saves may download as a ZIP. Extract the edited SAV before putting it back in the world folder.
